GoldIcon Enterprise Host Workshop Highlighting how to Accelerate Success

GoldIcon Enterprise is a young firm with big goals, and they recognise that if their people develop and grow, the business will grow simultaneously. This week, the Birmingham-based direct marketing and sales firm held a workshop highlighting how to accelerate success.

With an influx of new contractors at GoldIcon Enterprise, CEO Dwayne Foster thought it was the perfect time to host the workshop. Before entering the sales and marketing industry, CEO Dwayne Foster had zero experience; however, he possessed a competitive spirit, eagerness to learn and a winning mentality, thanks to his background in sports. The business owner organised a company-wide workshop this week, with the objective to provide staff and contractors with information to help them accelerate their success.

During the workshop, Mr Foster shared information about his personal business journey, and how he went from rookie to business owner in the space of ten months. He explained that there are a number of factors that contribute to success and what needs to be done to accelerate the journey.

Expand comfort zones: Stepping outside of a comfort zone is difficult and induces fear; however, Mr Foster argues that it is necessary to succeed. “The first time you experience something new, it’s scary, however, the more you do something, the easier it becomes.”

Goal Setting: Having a goal to work towards is the driving force for success. Mr Foster urges the firm’s contractors to set both micro and macro goals. At GoldIcon Enterprise, they push their professionals to set weekly goals to progress their development.

Sacrifice: “Success takes sacrifice. You have to be willing to work harder than anyone you know,” stated Mr Foster.

Thirst for knowledge: “During my path to business ownership, I was like a sponge. I was hungry to learn, and I absorbed all information that was available to me.” Commented Mr Foster.

Networking: “Your network is your net worth, and that is something I learned quickly. Once I recognised the value of networking, I committed to reaching out and learning from the best people in this industry.” Stated Mr Foster. The GoldIcon Enterprise CEO urges all aspiring professionals to commit to networking to help progress their business development.
